Payment

Payment is to be made by Cash, Debit / Credit Card or Bank Transfer via PayPal account. Booking online will include a deposit to ensure your booking.

Invoices for receipts are sent to you through email. 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment 24 hours notice is required to allow other clients the opportunity of booking the slot.

You have to cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the allotted time or 50% of the treatment cost will be charged and must be paid before your next appointment.

NU.U, trading as NU.U Therapy (“us, “we” our ``) operates the www.nuutherapy.co.uk website (the “Website”).  This Privacy Notice explains how we collect and use your personal data when you use this Website and when we provide a service to you.

Personal and Contact Data

On completing the Contact Forms on this Website we collect your name, email address and telephone number in order to respond to your enquiry and/or make a booking.  This data is also collected when you make enquiries and/or bookings over the phone or by other means.

Sensitive Data

We do not collect any Sensitive Data about you via this Website.  At your first appointment, you will be required to complete a consultation form detailing personal, contact and sensitive data.  In addition, we will need to collect and process data relating to your health. Your explicit consent is required for this. If you do not wish to give your explicit consent, we will not be able to deliver the required services.

Marketing Preferences Data

We would like to get in touch with you when we have information about new therapies, special offers and promotions that we think might be of interest to you.  If you consent to receive this information you have the right to withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at info@nuutherapy.co.uk

Should you choose to contact us using any of the contact forms on our website or via email, none of the information you provide will be stored on our website or processed by any third-party data processor.

If contacting us via the contact form or via email the data will be sent using email over SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). Hard copy consultation forms will be kept securely.

6.  DATA RETENTION

We will retain your personal data for as long as is required to fulfil the purposes it was collected.   Client consultation forms will be kept in a hard copy format and securely retained for a minimum of 10 years following your last treatment.  This is a legal requirement.

7.  YOUR RIGHTS

You have rights under the data protection laws in relation to your personal data.  For further information visit the ICO’s website (www.ico.org.uk).

If you would like a copy of your personal data a fee will not be charged unless your request is considered to be repetitive, unfounded or excessive.  In these circumstances, we are entitled to charge a reasonable administrative fee. As a security measure, we may need to request information from you to confirm your identity.  We will try to respond to your request within one month.

Your data will be reviewed at every appointment to ensure that it remains current.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of how we collect and process your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk).  In the first instance, we should be grateful if you contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue for you.
